Sarah Anderson, founder of NuBody, recently moved from NYC to sunny San Diego. She graduated at the top of her class from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2011, and her massage practice has included working with some of the most progressive medical massage clinics in NYC including Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage and Massage Williamsburg, as well as NYC's Broadway community of actors, dancers, musicians, and technicians. She actively pursues continuing education and is excited by the limitless possibilities for learning and healing of human beings. Sarah utilizes a wide range of modalities including myofascial, trigger point, active release, TuiNa Chinese medical massage, neuromuscular, TMJ/intra-oral massage, breath work, and therapeutic yoga. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at San Diego's Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She believes passionately in the expansion of world medicine.
Sarah comes from a performance background, having received her BFA in musical theater from Webster University. A long time yogi, dancer, runner, hiker, swimmer, and urban warrior, Sarah is no stranger to injury and has been guided to her massage practice through her own healing. She can often be found outside gardening, biking, or trekking the wild outdoors with her husband Scott, at the beach, or singing around town. Sarah extends gratitude for all her teachers, friends, and family.
